I am a classically-trained, traditional oil painter based in Toronto Canada with a special passion for portraiture, figures, and still life.

My paintings tend to depict quiet, private places with an air of mystery and intrigue. I describe my style as classical realism, a form of representational art that exhibits a preference for order, beauty, harmony, and completeness, as well as the representation of nature based on direct observation using traditional methods. I count the Dutch Old Masters and 19th-century French Academic painters among my major influences.
